| DRY FOAM SHAMPOO |
This is used when fabrics cannot be
wet cleaned because they are delicate weaves, or are made up of delicate
fibers, such as cotton, silk, wool, or Rayon.
(Rayon is a man made fabric but
is treated as a natural fabric) These natural fibers cannot take the
high heat and alkalinity of the steam cleaning process. They may
discolor, shrink, warp, or the colors may bleed.
This process is done exclusively by
hand and employs a shampooing agent that has the consistency of shaving
cream, so as not to get the fabric overly wet. This process is more
laborious and time consuming. |

DRY CLEANING |
This process involves the use of
solvents to clean fabrics that cannot be cleaned with any type of a
water-based agent. This is usually used on fragile fabrics that tend to
discolor, have unstable dyes, may shrink or deform from a wet cleaning
process.
This process is also done
exclusively by hand and is very time consuming. |
